2020: an American odyssey

I have decided that going to the United States in the middle of the global pandemic was a good plan. This shouldn’t be permanent, but I have no idea when I will be able to come back. This blog will document my journey from the peaceful bubble that is Laos into the madness that seems to be the US, currently in the grip of the Covid-19 pandemic, social uprisings, pre-election turmoil – to those of us outside.
